These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Hungry List mobile application ("the App"), operated by Patrick Nguyen ("I," "me," or "my"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

The Hungry List is a group dining coordination app. It lets you:
The App relies on third-party services including Apple Maps for restaurant location data and Google Firebase for data storage and authentication. Restaurant information displayed in the App is sourced from Apple Maps and may not always be accurate or current.
You may add content to the App including restaurant entries, ratings, group names, event details, and availability ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant me a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display it to other members of your groups as part of operating the App.
You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit. You agree not to submit content that is:

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Terms, you can report it through the in-app report function or by contacting me at support@thehungrylist.com. I will review reports and take action at my discretion.
You may delete your account at any time from your profile in the App. Deletion permanently removes your profile, ratings, events, eaten records, and group memberships.
I may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. If your account is terminated for a violation, you may not create a new account.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Restaurant data sourced from Apple Maps is provided for convenience only — always confirm hours, location, and availability directly with the restaurant.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any harm resulting from reliance on restaurant information displayed in the App. My total liability for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid me in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, as the App is free, is $0).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in California.
I may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. I will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
